Tough games are coming thick and fast now so to come away with the 3 points and a 3rd clean sheet in a row was very nice indeed. Our opposition St Francis, Mackworth of Derby were a real handful and we struggled to win the central midfield battles throughout the game. The game was very competitive but lacked goal scoring chances due to two very good defences, and it looked like a goalless draw until St Francis pushed forward and very unlucky when they hit the post, one quick ball to Gizzy who took the ball from near the half way line and ran, ran before burying the ball into the far corner of the net. What a goal!!!
Thanks to great performances from Imi, Erin, Louisa, and Courtnie at the back and safe hands from Ursula in goal we managed to hold out for 3 great points and our second 1-0 win over the opposition.
