Committee member roles

 

  1. Chairman

Chairs all committee meetings for the club organising committee

Ensures all committee posts and team manager posts are appropriately filled (in line with the club constitution)

Custodian of the Club Constitution and Rules and their apppcation

Ensures the club is forward thinking and focussed to achieve its goals

Lead officer for the club in all respects

Produces an annual report for the club AGM

  1. Vice Chairman

To carry out specific duties and activities as agreed with the Chairman

To deputise for the Chairman as required

  1. Club Development Officer

To ensure the full integration of the new club by leading, directing and supervising integration activities

Responsible for the Development Plan for the club

Introduces initiatives in all areas of the club which helps build and sustains the club to a high standard of performance and achievement e.g. continuity from junior to senior football; better coaching throughout the club

To oversee the achievement and maintainance of FA Charter Community Club status

  1. Finance Secretary

To present the club accounts in accordance with the guidepnes in the club constitution

To provide a financial strategy for the club e.g. policy, practice, signatories, bank accounts, income & expenditure approaches, fee structure etc.

Provides an annual statement for the annual AGM

  1. Club Secretary

The channel for all correspondence – in and out of the club

Keeps the club database for all members of the club e.g names, addresses, contact numbers etc, mindful of any Data Protection obligations

Prime club contact for outside bodies e.g. leagues, FA – name that goes in the handbooks

Provides the minutes for committee meetings – sends out agenda, papers etc 

  1. Fund Raising Secretary/Group

Prepares a fund raising strategy for the club covering all making schemes e.g. social events, sponsorship, fund raising events, grants, football cards, raffles etc

Recruits volunteers to be part of fund raising group or a particular fund raising event

  1. Senior Section Coordinator

The liaison between the senior section and the executive committee

  1. Youth U14 – U16 Teams Coordinator

The liaison between all youth teams in this age group, assist with transition from U13 to U14 and transition from U16 to Senior Section. Attends Committee meetings to provide a report on the section.

  1. Girls and Ladies Teams Coordinator

Attends and represents the club at all Notts Girls and Ladies League meetings and votes when required as instructed by the committee in the best interests of the club.

Liaison with all Girls and Ladies teams and attends club committee meetings providing a report on the Girls and ladies section.

  1. Youth U11 – U13 Teams Coordinator

The liaison between all youth teams in this age group, attends committee meetings to provide a report on the section.

  1. Youth U8 – U10 Teams Coordinator

The liaison between all youth teams in this age group, attends committee meetings to provide a report on the section.

  1. Little Kickers 3-6 years & U7 Coordinator

The liaison between all youth teams in this age group, attends committee meetings to provide a report on the section. Provides pathway from little kickers to team football at U7.

  1. Special Ability Secretary

Attends and represents the club at any meetings relevant to the section when required as instructed by the committee in the best interests of the club. Will also put forward items for a meeting agenda as requested by the club committee. Ensures all relevant paperwork is distributed to relevant parties without delay.

  1. Child Welfare Officer

Provides all members of the club with advice and guidance in matters concerning abuse, racial discrimination, bullying and any other action that the club deems to be in confpct with its codes of conduct.

The child welfare officer will have attended the FA child protection course and be CRB checked to enhanced standard and will continue to attend where required future training courses. 

  1. Assistant Child Welfare officer

Provides the club with a substitute Child Welfare Officer to fulfil those duties when required.

  1. Volunteer Co-ordinator

To be the focal point for all volunteer roles in the club and support them in their roles so that they are clear what they are doing and why

To be involved in the recruitment of all volunteer roles and co-ordinate any training required

Work closely with the fund raising group to organise social and fund raising events that require volunteers to be involved

Help with team coaches/managers to recruit volunteers from parents/friends etc to carry out important roles in the
