GSB Pumas lined up today against GSB Leopards, life being made a little easier with both sets of coaches helping to set up the goals.
The game started pretty even with some end to end football and great defending from both teams. The Leopards took the lead in the first ten minutes with a well taken goal. The Puma’s continued to battle and deservedly pulled a goal back through Felix who just has a knack for scoring, not bad for someone who started out wanting to be a GK.
More end to end football, some great play and defending from both teams, but the Leopards nudge ahead again with a long range effort. The 3rd 10 started like the first until Jayden equalised for the Puma’s that’s 2 in 2 and a beaming smile. Harlow took a pot shot at goal and which went straight in despite Jacobs best effort to pinch it, Puma’s now 3-2 up going into the last 10.
Felix grabbed two more in the final 10 giving the Puma’s a 5- 2 victory, both teams played well throughout and it was a great contest and both teams were a great credit.
