GSB Vets became league champions today with a 5-0 win against Stratford Haven on the Astro turf at Greasham. Struggling to cope with a howling wind (or was that Ken shouting instructions) it took the team till the second half to find the net. Goals flowed with Yasser Soliman opening the scoring, Nick Edgar with a brace, one for new signing Matt Novak and finally Justin Jules getting on the score sheet with his first of the season.
Well done all, a tougher game than expected, focus now shifts to the semi final in two weeks.
