So I have decided to do the usual thing of growing a ‘tache during November to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, and to add a little bit of extra effort on my behalf, I have also decided to do the 10km Mo Run in Wollaton Park on November 23rd.
Now this looks like any normal sponsorship request so hopefully many of you have got this far & decided to move onto the next news item!!
For those that are still reading, I am starting to regret saying I would actually do this!! The reason why?? Well I have said to the kids that I will do the run, and manage their game that afternoon in fancy dress if they can raise enough money, and THEY came up with the following list :-

>£200 – Do Mo Run & Manage Team dressed as an 80’s Scouser
>£250 – Do the Mo Run dressed as 118 Man
>£300 – Do Mo Run & Manage Team dressed as 118 Man
>£350 – Do the Mo Run dressed as Freddie Mercury
>£400 – Do Mo Run & Manage Team dressed as Freddie Mercury
>£450 – Do the Mo Run dressed as Wonder Woman
>£500 – Do Mo Run & Manage Team dressed as Wonder Woman
>£550 – Do the Mo Run dressed in Morph Suit
>£600 – Do Mo Run & Manage Team dressed in Morph Suit
>£700 – Do Mo Run in Speedo’s & big medallion
>£800 – Do Mo Run & Manage Team in Speedo’s & big medallion
>£1000 – Do Mo Run in Mankini
>£1500 – Do Mo Run & Manage Team in Mankini
The other thing to mention regarding this sponsorship is the fact that the Royal Mail will match every £ raised – £ for £.
So if the target the boys want to raise is met, the overall total raised for Prostate Cancer will be £3000.
