A big thank you to everyone who supported the club by participating in the BMX Raffle fundraiser at both the Arnold Carnival and the Mini Boys Section Presentation Evening at the Meadow Lane Sports Bar on Friday. After much suspense the winning ticket was drawn by Notts County centre forward Enoch Showunmi at the Mini Presentation and was won by the Barfield family who’s son Max plays in the U8’s. In some ways fate played a lucky hand here because they told me that in the previous week their shed had been burgled and and an expensive BMX had been taken, so hopefully this will tide over Max until the insurance comes through!!
