Well a score line of 0-6 seems like a one sided game, yet this was far from the case as GSB played a very good game.
We started very well and were unlucky not to take the lead early on, however an injury meant a defensive change which led to a communication break down which a Derby player took advantage of and hit an unstoppable strike in off the crossbar for a great goal after 15 minutes.
Another 2 goals quickly saw Derby County 3-0 up and we were left shell shocked

It was all positive at the break as the girls were given their all and we had nothing to be critical off.
The 2nd half saw us again start well but our opponents were clinical in front of goal and 3 more fantastic goals went in to give the score a flattering 6-0 headline, we had some chances in the 2nd half and at times played some cracking football but Derby County were just too good for us on the day.
In all my years coaching football I’ve been on the receiving end of a couple beatings however today I wasn’t disappointed at the score as the players gave everything and after all this is all we can ask of them
8 wins from 9 games leaves us top by 2 points, a great feat, well done girls
