Gedling and District Round table is part of a national association aimed traditionally at men aged 18 to 45 that meets every other Thursday to do something different. Whether that be a boat trip, go-karting, seeing stand-up comedy, or clay pigeon shooting we always end the evening in a pub with a meal covered by our fixed event costs. Throughout the year we also donate a little of our time and money to local good causes mainly generated from our Xmas Santa Sleigh collection.
Whilst definitely not a prerequisite for attending we find those men that maybe have few or no colleagues or perhaps have just moved to the area find Round Table to be the perfect way to meet a variety of different local characters and enhance their regular social lives. Many also find to their surprise that much fun and enjoyment can be gained from giving a little something back to the community alongside their fellow members in an environment of high morale and no shortage of banter.
