For the past three weeks I’ve had to work on Saturday and was unable to make football, something I don’t like doing.
I my absence Paul Barfield took full charger of the team, he’s a very experienced football manager and knows the boys well so I knew the team was in good hands
The first week in took the team to the final of the Rolls Royce tournament but lost 1-0,but still a great achievement.
The second week we traveled to Radcliffe Olympic Blue, a team who we played out a great end to end game near the beginning of the season ending 4-4. The boys passed the ball round well and with Liam and Corey missing who have been at the back all season Max and Luca stepped in and we won 5-0.
This weekend we went to play Stapleford Villa. A full team gave Paul problems with who to play and where. Yet again the boys stepped up to the mark and won 3-1.
I’m back next weekend……I hope I do as well lol. I would like to say a massive thankyou to Paul, since he started helping out at the beginning of this season its made the team stronger.
Well done boys, we have truly become united over the past few years
