The girls followed up their previous 3 league wins with number 4 thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win away to Castle Donington. It shows what a great squad we have when from the 10 goals we’ve scored this season we have had 8 different scorers. We had a lot of possession and made lots of chances, played some great football in the process.
Whilst it was raining very heavily elsewhere, Castle Donington was wet but not much rain which made for a very good game. We got straight into the game and were dominating the match quite quickly and scored 2 goals in a small space of time, we went in 2 up at half time.
The 2nd half saw us produce many chances but great goalkeeping, defending, combined with near misses, (including a penalty) kept the score down to 3 at the final whistle.
A great team performance well done to all girls.
