After losing 4-0 twice and 2-0 to Nuthall over the last 2 seasons, we went into the game as underdogs, however with an absolute committed squad of 12, the girls deserved the win.
They were well worth their 2-0 lead at half time
Nuthall picked it up in the 2nd half and pulled a goal back through fantastic link up play, however persistant by our girls say us retain our 2 goal lead. Our opponents pulled another goal back before the end but the girls held on for a fantastic 3-2 victory.
That’s 6 goals and 6 points for the season following our 3-1 win over a very good Southwell City side last week, and with 6 different scorers this season shows what a great squad GSB have.
