On the 10th of May we led 1-0 at half time in our Plate Final v Derby County but failure to convert possession into goals came back to haunt us as we went down 3-1.
On the 17th of May again we led 1-0 in our Cup Final v Derby County but again better finishing was the difference in another 3-1 one loss.
Over the 2 Finals the girls gave everything and we were unlucky not to walk away winning the Cup Final, as a manger I couldn’t ask for any more from our squad.
This season we won the FA County Shield, reached 2 other Finals and won the NGLFL Respect / Sporting Award for the 4th year in a row
An amazing achievement to all concerned.
