Following on from a dramatic comeback last week which saw us beat Forest on penalties in the Cup, today it was the FA Shield Semi Final at home to Southwell City and yet again it was another tense affair, we led 1-0 at half time but were pegged back early in the 2nd half, we regained the lead around the 50 minute mark and were dominating the game until slow closing down enabled our opponents to level things again with around 10 minutes to go. Another game into extra time but, this time we didn’t need penalties as we scored in the first half of extra time and held on to earn the right to defend our FA Shield V Forest on April 24th.
